1. Preamble

The following general conditions of sale govern all transactions established in the Fossils of Morocco web catalogue. Any order placed on this site implies the customer's unconditional and irrevocable acceptance of these conditions.

2. Object

This contract is a distance contract whose purpose is to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of the products of the Morrocan Fossils company on the Internet, through the secure online payment platform of the Interbank Monetary Center.

3. Definitions

In the rest of the contract, each of the expressions mentioned above will have the meaning of its definition, namely:

​

"Distance contract" means any contract for goods between the Morrocan Fossils Company and a Consumer in the context of a distance sales system organized by Morrocan Fossils which, for this contract, uses exclusively the Internet network until the conclusion of the contract, including the conclusion of the contract itself.

"Consumer": any natural person who, in this contract, acts for purposes that are not included in the scope of his or her professional activity.

"Order Form": document that indicates the characteristics of the Products requested by the Consumer and that must be signed by the Consumer by means of a "double click" to link it.

"Order": the act by which the Consumer undertakes to purchase Products and the Moroccan Fossil Company to deliver them.

4. Product
 

All products in the catalog are sold while supplies last. Many of these pieces are unique due to the nature of the craftsmanship of the artisan sold by Morrocan Fossils reserves the right to remove an item from the catalog without prior notice. No obligation can be imposed on you to compensate or cancel an order due to the inability to use the purchased product due to incompatibility with the equipment already owned by the buyer.

Some products out of stock are left on purpose in case somebody wants one like it to back order.

5. Place an order

After you find the products you are interested in, click the "Order" button, then the product is added to your order form. You can change your order form at any time and you can return to the catalog by clicking continue shopping.

When you have finished shopping, confirm your order by clicking the ''pay'' button on the order.

In case of error on your part when entering the order form, we advise you to send us a cancellation request by email within 24 hours. After canceling the order by Morrocan Fossils, you can place the order again.

 

6. Price
 

The prices mentioned in the catalog are indicated in Moroccan dirham without VAT, and US dollars, they are valid at the time of consultation by the customer and are those in force at the time of the order.

VAT is calculated on the order form based on the rate applicable on the day of the order. The order form and transactions are carried out in Moroccan dirham, since the company is based in Morocco.

Any change in the rate will automatically be reflected in the price of the products.

7. Execution of the order
 

The order will be executed within a maximum period of 7 days from the day following the day on which the Consumer placed his order.

In the event of unavailability of the requested Product, the Consumer will be informed as soon as possible and will have the option to cancel their order.

​

You will then have the option to request a refund of the amounts paid within a maximum period of thirty days from your payment, or to exchange the Product.

 
8. Delivery
 

Delivery is provided by Morrocan Fossils via USPS or UPS, as applicable. Most of the fossils come directly from Morocco and some are in the United States, we move the stock for shows in United States and becouse single shipping would made the product more expensive. The customer will receive his merchandise at the delivery address indicated in his Order Form.

The Products are delivered to the address indicated by the Consumer in the Order Form. The Consumer is obliged to check the merchandise at the time of delivery and report any damage due to the carrier on the delivery note, as well as to the Morrocan Fossils Company within 5 days of receiving the product.

The Consumer may, at his request, obtain the sending of an invoice to the delivery address by validating the option provided for this purpose in the Order Form.

How much does shipping cost?

​

All of our products already in United States are free shipping for orders more than $50.

In Morocco and abroad, they are based on UPS, FEDEX or USPS rates for certified mail.

Our rates are calculated based on the weight of the products. - The transportation cost of your delivery is indicated on your invoice.

Decreases with the quantity ordered. The best thing you can do is group your orders.

What are the delivery times?

​

After receiving your payment, your order will be shipped within 48 hours, subject to available stock.

In Morocco and abroad, items will be sent to you by registered mail. Delays cannot result in damages, cancellation of the order or refusal to accept delivery. Most of our fossils will be shipped from our warehouse in Houston, Texas for now.

9. Payment method
 

To pay for your order, choose the payment method offered by CMI with credit card on the checkout page.

 

Your online payments are secured by the Interbank Monetary Center (CMI), which offers a completely secure payment service.

 

The Consumer guarantees to the Company that he has the necessary authorizations to use the payment method chosen by him, by validating the Order Form.

In the case of payment by credit card, the provisions regarding fraudulent use of payment methods provided for in the contracts concluded between the Consumer and the card issuer and between the Company and its banking institution will apply.

10. Data privacy

The information requested from you is necessary for the processing of your order and is treated confidentially. You have the right to rectify the data that concerns you.
 

11. Cancel an order paid by credit card
 

In case of cancellation and order after it has been paid, you may be refunded the amount less the commission paid to the credit card company ussually 3.5%.

 

12. Right of withdrawal
 

From the date of delivery of your order, you have a period of 7 days to exercise your right of withdrawal, and be fully refunded. The costs of returning the merchandise are your responsibility. However, only products returned in perfect resalable condition, complete and in their original (unopened) packaging can be refunded.

13. Guarantee
 

All products sold in the catalog are guaranteed to be authentic and real fossils. The duration of this warranty is lifetime. The reason we offer this is because we collect and prepare our own fossils. If the fossils are returned, transportation and handling costs may be borne by the customer. This guaranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse or neglect.

14. Proof of transactions paid by credit card
 

The data recorded by the CMI on the online payment platform on behalf of Morrican Fossils constitutes proof of the commercial transactions concluded between you and the company.

15. Force majeure
 

Morrocan Fossils is only responsible for the performance of its obligations to the extent that no force majeure event prevents this.
