This is a 1.75" long specimen of Metacanthina Issoumourensis quarried near Lghaft, Morocco. It is nicely prepared with an amazing amount of shell detail including great eye facet preservation. This specimen has less than 1% restoration in total.
Trilobites were a very diverse group of extinct marine arthropods. They first appeared in the fossil record in the Early Cambrian (521 million years ago) and went extinct during the Permian mass extinction (250 million years ago.
